This workshop will give you the opportunity to meet Debbie and discuss any problems or queries that you may have with your Mystery Blanket squares. Advice and help will be given on all hand-knitting techniques including intarsia, fairisle, cables, bobbles, lace stitches, beads, sewing up (Mattress stitch) and picking up stitches. You will be given a knitting kit for a small accessory inspired by the Mystery Blanket to knit up during the workshop, or you can choose to work on your Mystery Blanket squares.
Non Mystery Blanket Club members will be given the small accessory knitting kit to work on during the workshop.
Materials that Mystery Blanket members need to bring:
Knitting needles: Those that are used in the blanket The contents of your packs, the knitted and the un- knitted!
Scissors, cable needle, sewing up needle (blunt-ended), sewing needle (sharp-pointed), needle and thread for threading beads, 0.6mm/0.75mm crochet hook and anything else that you have used so far in the project
Materials that non Mystery Blanket members need to bring:
Knitting needles: 3.00mm, 3.75mm, 4.00mm
Scissors, cable needle, sewing up needle (blunt-ended), sewing needle (sharp-pointed), needle and thread for threading beads, 0.6mm/0.75mm crochet hook
Workshops are held at the Janie Crow showroom/studio in High Barnet between 10am and 4pm.
A complimentary vegetarian lunch is provided along with tea, coffee and soft drinks throughout the day, however if you have any special dietary requirements we ask that you bring your own refreshments.
Most workshops include yarn, but you will need to bring along any specific equipment listed. If you need us to provide equipment for you please let us know.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be offered a full refund or the chance to book onto another workshop.
If you need to cancel, you will receive a full refund if you notify us 30 days before the work shop date. Thereafter we will refund you only if we can find a replacement participant for your place.
