Getting to grips with this great technique can be a little tricky, so if you want to learn the basics in order to create neat brioche stitches then this is the workshop for you!

Tutored by Renee Callahan of East London Knits this workshop will show you how to read and understand brioche terminology, how to knit plain brioche stitch, how to work brioche rib stitch flat with a selvedge, how to work increases and decreases and how to work brioche in 2 colours of yarn.

Equipment:

Yarn will be provided, however if you have a particular choice of DK weight yarn that you would like to use, please bring along 2 x 50g balls. 
Participants also need to bring along 4mm circular needles.

Workshops:

Workshops are held at the Janie Crow showroom/studio in High Barnet between 10am and 4pm.

A complimentary vegetarian lunch is provided along with tea, coffee and soft drinks throughout the day, however if you have any special dietary requirements we ask that you bring your own refreshments.

Most workshops include yarn, but you will need to bring along any specific equipment listed. If you need us to provide equipment for you please let us know.

Cancellations:

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be offered a full refund or the chance to book onto another workshop.

If you need to cancel, you will receive a full refund if you notify us 30 days before the work shop date. Thereafter we will refund you only if we can find a replacement participant for your place.
